“Abu Dhabi Emirate is proud to host the largest ever high-profile collection of innovative events dedicated to the aviation and aerospace sector,” said Mubarak Al Shamisi, Abu Dhabi Convention Bureau Director, a division of Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), a key organiser for the week.

“The constructive and progressive dialogue that has taken place on the future of the industry is testament to Abu Dhabi’s emergence as a major hub for aviation and aerospace,” he added.

ADAAW, characterised by six key events, today sees the launch of Abu Dhabi Air Expo 2016, which also features the Middle East Aviation Career Conference & Exhibition alongside the Abu Dhabi Heli Expo. The event, hosted by Abu Dhabi Airports, will bring together thousands of global industry stakeholders at Al Bateen Executive Airport to highlight and discuss the latest developments in aviation innovation and business practice, in line with Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030 and UAE Vision 2021.

Today also brings to a close the week’s first three events: the second Unmanned Systems Exhibition & Conference (UMEX 2016), the first Simulation Conference & Exhibition, and the third Global Aerospace Summit – all of which were held at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).
