"Flight departure and landing are proceeding as normal with no delays or diversions to any of the scheduled flight from and to Abu Dhabi International Airport due to the sand storm that Abu Dhabi is witnessing today, 2/4/2015. Excluding this, two flights’ departure to Dammam and Bahrain were delayed due to bad weather conditions at these airports.

"Abu Dhabi Airports are in continuous communication with Etihad Airways, the other operating airlines, companies working at the airports, and nearby airports to ensure effective readiness to any update. We are also working in coordination with the Sheikh Zayed Air Navigation Center and the government entities at the airport to ensure passengers’ safety and convenience."
